The information you need

With Glögg, the end-of-year celebrations take on a unique charm whether drunk hot or iced in the form of delicious cocktails. Here are two cocktail recipes from Kusmi, enough to keep the party going long after Christmas: Glögg on Fire and Frosty Glögg . To prepare them, you will need: a saucepan, cocktail glasses, a measuring cup, a pestle and a shaker.

To begin, here are the basics to make for both cocktails:

Base 1: Glögg syrup

Ingredients: 3 teaspoons of Glögg / 50cl of cane sugar syrup

Pour 50cl of cane sugar syrup and 3 teaspoons of Glögg into a saucepan. Let simmer for 3 to 4 minutes and filter.

Base 2: Iced Glögg

Ingredients: 5 teaspoons of Glögg / About ten ice cubes / 1L of water.

Infuse the Glögg in very hot water, as for an infusion, then add ice cubes.

Glögg on Fire - the cocktail that sets fire

For four glasses: 1 bottle of red wine / 15cl of Glögg syrup / 25cl of iced Glögg / 2 slices of lemon.

Mix the Glögg syrup, the iced Glögg, a bottle of red wine (75cl) and 2 lemon slices in a saucepan. Let it simmer for 15 minutes. Then pour into pretty glasses accompanied by lemon slices if you wish.

Frosty Glögg - the cocktail that breaks the ice

For a glass: ¼ lime or lemon / 5cl vodka / 1.5cl Glögg syrup / 6cl iced Glögg / 2cl blackcurrant nectar.

Crush the lemon and add all the ingredients to the shaker. Shake well and pour into the glasses!
